 From ‘Wild Horses’ by The Rolling Stones to ‘She’s Country’ by Jason Aldean, I repeated these cowgirl songs over and over while working on In the Reins. The thirty-something tunes I’ve compiled in my "For the Cowgirl in Us" playlist on my YouTube channel certainly made my spurs jingle and helped fuel my imagination as I developed McKennon and Devon's story.
