I love to write my cowboy romance love stories while listening to music … all kinds of music! What I listen to depends on my mood. Some days it’s classical, sometimes it’s a movie soundtrack, other days it’s jazz or classic rock, and a lot of the time it was country when I was writing In The Reins. AND I love to watch cowboy love movies too! I sometimes fantasize that my cowboy romance novel, In The Reins, might become a cowboy romance movie one day. Sigh ... I am sure many authors probably have that same dream about their books hitting the big screen but still ... wouldn't it be dreamy to see Cowboy McKennon Kelly steaming up the place? All this romance writing, movie watching and silver screen day dreaming got me thinking about what a soundtrack for In The Reins might sound like if it ever was made into a cowboy love movie so I went ahead and made my own soundtrack! Are you a fan of romance movies about cowboys? If the answer is yes then get ready to saddle up and tune in to the soundtrack songs to my cowboy love story! Let's giddy up 'cause here we go!
In this third spotlight edition, I talk about writing and horse life with Brittney Joy, author of the Red Rock Ranch horse book series. Horse books make my spurs jingle and I fell in love with the characters from Brittney's books! In her interview, Brittney shares some seriously fun stuff including how her experience with a naughty cow (and her calf) inspired the opening chapter of Lucy's Chance! Plus, you'll learn about her new project called OverThrone (my spurs are jingling over this!) involving a sassy heroine, a castle, magic, and horses! I just know you are going to enjoy learning all about this very special fellow equestrian and author in this month's spotlight!
