In this fourteenth Equestrian Author Spotlight, I talk with Nicole Moore. She is the author of the Shade Break Farm equestrian fiction series. Of course, we discuss the best topics on earth ... writing, books and horses! In the interview, you'll learn that her favorite equine memory is of a snowy bareback ride on Christmas Day! As a writer, I completely understand and agree with her answer to my question, "What's the hardest part about being an author?" Happy reading.
My spurs are still jingling from attending my very FIRST BreyerFest at the Kentucky Horse Park! I loved meeting readers, fellow authors and all the Breyer Model Horse enthusiasts who attended this awesome event for horse lovers! Go behind the scenes at the festival in this fun little video from my cowgirlious adventures in Lexington, Kentucky. Happy viewing!
We've had record temperatures this summer in Arizona so I am always looking for ways to keep my horse (Sissy) cool. I knew I had to give these a whirl when a family member (Thanks, Uncle Tim!) shared a post from a fellow horse lover on Facebook who had just tried out horsey popsicles. I took some fun video footage of Sissy giving her first horse popsicle a taste. Read on to see the video and get the recipe, too!
