Carly: I have heard that there have been some exciting adventures in your horse life since we last talked. You've been reunited with the horse that was featured in Confessions of a Timid Rider. Tell us about your reunion with Delight.
Heather: The horse that I really fell in love with years ago when I was coming back into riding and who I wrote Confessions of a Timid Rider about was never my horse and I always wanted him to be. It just never was meant to work out and he got sold away about a year ago. He stayed local so I still got to see him and visit him, but it did not work out the way anyone had intended. The new owner basically just gave him away and the good news is that he didn't end up somewhere scary or somewhere where he didn't deserve to be because he ended up with me, so now he will always be a part of my life and it's just such a blessing. Delight is an off-track Thoroughbred. He's been retrained as a hunter and I've known him since he was three. He's a 16.3 beautiful bay. When I found out about his situation, I did everything I could to make having him in my life again happen.
Carly: You are an author, a freelance writer, a blogger, a podcaster, you own your own animal bodywork business, a horse owner, a mother and now you have a new project! Tell listeners what they will find in The Bookstore for Horse Lovers.
