For the final post in my three part series on equine photography and equine photo shoots, I thought I'd get a little silly! The truth is photo shoots with horses aren't always glamorous so I'm sharing some funny shots from my photo sessions with Melanie Elise Photography. Melanie always makes me laugh and as you will see my horse, Sissy, can be a little silly too. I hope this post gives you a giggle and makes your spurs jingle. There's even an opportunity for you to caption a few. Enjoy! Sha ... Sha ... Shake it out Sissy! This series of photos made me laugh so hard. It started to lightly rain as we were wrapping up the photo session and Sissy kept shaking the rain droplets off. Taylor Swift's 'Shake It Off" could have been the theme song for this part of our equine photo shoot! Sissy's shakin' things up!I think Sissy kinda wears the expression of a camel in this photo! The tongue out twosome! In the next two photos, Melanie snapped her camera just in time to catch Sissy AND me with our tongues hanging out! Sissy says "Pbbbblittt!"This is Sissy's "I'm a puppy impression" but she sure does have a cute pink tongue! And one last serious Sissy SHAKE!Doesn't her eye look super weird? She shook so hard it rolled back in her head! Don't I look stoic? Or perhaps I'm just swallowing?Sissy is all ears up and being a great model in this shot. Me not so much! At least I have a death grip on the lead rope and I've created a very circular leather loop! She says ... ARGH!I have NO idea what is happening here. Want to caption this photo for me? Go for it in the comments. I could use a good giggle! Give me something that will make my spurs jingle. Ahem ... here's another weird one!Am I trying to read Melanie's mind with my super powered spur jingling cowgirl mind reading radar? Perhaps! Even if I don't have that particular superpower at least I've assumed a good stance! So silly ... There you have it! Picture proof that equine photo shoots are not always glamorous. I hope you enjoyed the funny shots from my photo sessions with Melanie Elise Photography. Are you thinking of doing an equine photo shoot with your horse this year?
