Video Tutorial: How to Make Horse Popsicles!

Beat the heat with this spur jingling horse treat. Horse popsicles are super easy to make. Read on for my 'how to' video and get the horse popsicle recipe, too! ​

Here's my horse popsicle recipe!

Horse popsicles are easy-peasy! Here's what you do ...

1. Buy some Gatorade. I picked the blue one and the fruit punch flavor. (You can always opt for the diet version if you're concerned about the sugars in the Gatorade.)
2. Slice up an apple. Carrots are fun to add, too.
3. Put the Gatorade and the apples/carrots in a plastic container.
4. Freeze and then feed!

I put the horse popsicle in a cooler for the drive to the barn. When I get there, I simply let the Tupperware warm up a bit (in the Arizona heat it doesn't take long) and then the horsey popsicles slip right out. I put a popsicle in her feeder after our ride. Sissy loves them.
